This is a group of 400+ fans of Xtra Mile Recordings who help the label and their artists grow through online and real-world tasks, created in 2014. Our Market Reps are a more hardcore group of fans who volunteer for four-month blocks of lifestyle marketing. Through our network of fans, I have organized numerous house show tours in the USA, England, and Germany for our artists, where they performed in fans’ flats, living rooms, and backyards.

History is one of the great loves of my life. I have always had an interest in it, and decided in the spring of 2016 to document that interest. This documentation includes vlogs from historic sites and museums, blogs about events, and photos of anything historical I encounter that excites me. I love digging into the details of what I find on the street, in a museum, or at a National Park. The hashtag of my phrase, #historyisimportant, has been used by the New York Historical Society, the Museum of the City of New York, the Morris Jumel Mansion, historians, universities, and fellow history lovers.
History Is Important
This was an exercise in music fandom with the goal of community building, which I solely managed by collaborating with fans directly. The premise is simple: a flag, decorated in album imagery, arrives on the first night of a tour and must attend every gig in the run solely by the power of fans working together - and the band is not allowed to help. This encouraged fans to meet one another, plan photo-ops and the like, and - most importantly - make new friends around the music they love. The #FTHCflag ran from 2013 to 2016, across the whole of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
